Saving Searches

The service allows you to save up to 100 searches that you would like to repeat. You also can request the service run these searches for you automatically and notify you by email when new matching domains have been listed.

To save a search:

1. If you are not there already, go to the Domain Name Auction home page in your web browser.

2. In the Manage Your Account section, enter your username and password, then click the Login button. Your auction account page opens.

3. Carry out a domain name search. Refer to “Searching for a Domain Name” for instructions. The search results page opens.

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Add this Search Query to Your Saved Searches section.

5. In the Saved Search Name field, enter a name for the search. The name cannot exceed 30 characters.

6. In the Keywords it will Search for field, enter a keyword or several keywords that will be contained within the domain name you are searching for and that are separated by spaces. For example, the word sequence ’smith auto auction’ will return smithautoauction2006.com and 2006smithbrothersautoauction.com. Single keywords must be between 3 and 30 characters each. The maximum combined keywords length is 67 characters including spaces.

7. To specify whether you want to be notified, click the appropriate Notify me by email when new matching domains have been listed radio button: Yes or No.

8. Click Save. Your saved search is available immediately and whenever you are logged-in to the service.
